Pakistan is highly vulnerable to climate change despite contributing only 0.8% of global greenhouse gas emissions. • To improve mitigation readiness, Pakistan needs to update its GHG inventory, establish sector emission baselines, and develop a NAMA Framework, potentially packaging these as drivers for economic growth and poverty reduction to ensure high-level political support.
