This briefing introduces CCORAL (Caribbean Climate Online Risk and Adaptation TooL), an open-access online support system developed by the Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre (CCCCC) to integrate climate resilience into decision-making processes across the Caribbean. The tool is designed for users of all skill levels, particularly government officials in finance and planning, to help them screen activities, apply risk management processes, and access a database of over 70 climate risk management tools.

This report summarizes a two-day workshop held in Geneva on April 11-12, 2007, which brought together 40 participants to share and discuss climate adaptation tools for international development. The workshop aimed to improve decision-making to reduce risks and identify opportunities associated with climate variability and change, specifically within the context of development assistance.

The CCORAL (Caribbean Climate Online Risk and Adaptation TooL) is a web-based support system designed to integrate climate resilience into decision-making processes across the Caribbean. Developed by the Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre with support from the Climate Development and Knowledge Network and the UK Department for International Development, the tool aims to embed a risk management ethic in decision-making to support climate-compatible development.
