The Sharm-el-Sheikh Adaptation Agenda (SAA) serves as a global framework to drive adaptation and resilience transformations across food, water, health, and infrastructure systems. Launched at COP28, the First Implementation Report identifies progress in planning, finance, and technology, while emphasizing the role of businesses, financiers, and local changemakers as catalysts for transformational change.

Carbon Market Watch (CMW) reports an estimated 2024 GHG footprint of 39.37 tCO2eq, overshooting its retrospective annual target of 22.61 tCO2eq by 74%. The organization's emissions increased from 34.03 tCO2eq in 2023, primarily due to aviation. Scope 2 emissions, largely from remote work and office energy, are the largest source, while aviation is the second largest. The Green Climate Fund is developing a template accreditation master agreement (AMA) to formalize legal arrangements with accredited entities, utilizing a 'fit-for-purpose' approach that tailors conditions to an entity's specific accreditation scope. The draft incorporates existing Fund policies on fiduciary standards, environmental and social safeguards, and gender, while using placeholders for pending policies on fees and fraud. Consultations with entities accredited under decision B.09/07 have highlighted concerns regarding compliance and fees, with the Secretariat planning to circulate a discussion draft in June 2015 and conduct face-to-face meetings in July 2015.
