Report on implementation of the IAI Strategic Plan

The IAI Directorate reports that while COVID-19 delayed some actions requiring international travel, activities remain aligned with the Strategic Plan. • The IAI aims to demonstrate measurable impact by 2044 in several key areas, including climate action, energy security, food security, water security, biodiversity and ecosystem services, and human health and wellbeing.
• The document recommends that the Conference of the Parties delay the scheduled triennial revision of the Strategic Plan until the 2023-2024 intersessional period to align with the appointment of a new Executive Director.
