This case study describes the adaptation of the Robust Decision Support (RDS) framework to the Rocha River Basin Master Plan (PDC) in the Cochabamba Valley, Bolivia. By combining RDS with national guidelines, the project aims to improve water resources management, analyze the impact of institutional governance on system models, and provide stakeholders with tools to mitigate inter-sectorial conflicts and manage hydrologic risks.

It focuses on integrating water management, environmental restoration, and climate change adaptation across short, medium, and long-term horizons (up to 2040). The plan addresses critical deficits in safe water access, sanitation, and irrigation, while proposing five strategic lines of action to improve governance, knowledge, and ecological health in the basin.
