Strategic communications for bridging science to policy

This fact sheet describes the strategic communication efforts of SEI Asia, based in Bangkok, which aim to bridge scientific research and policy-making. To support this, SEI Asia provides "media grants" specifically designed to help early-career journalists improve their capacity for contextual science reporting on topics such as air quality, bioeconomy, water insecurity, disaster, and climate change.
• SEI Asia focuses on inclusive knowledge-sharing and dialogue involving a wide array of stakeholders, including state officials, researchers, think tanks, financial institutions, and local community groups such as indigenous communities.
