This report conclusion outlines development projections for Morocco up to 2043, detailing demographic shifts, economic forecasts across various sectoral scenarios, and policy recommendations to achieve sustainable growth and stability.

• By 2043, Morocco's population is projected to reach 43.9 million, characterized by an ageing population, a declining fertility rate, and increasing life expectancy. Urbanisation is expected to rise to 72.6% by the same year.
• Economic projections for 2043 vary by scenario: under the Current Path, GDP is projected to reach US$253.4 billion with a GDP per capita of US$10,718. In the Combined scenario, which integrates all sectoral interventions, GDP per capita would reach US$13,996 (a 33% increase over the Current Path) and the total economy would grow to US$384 billion, making Morocco the sixth-largest economy in Africa.
• Sectoral improvements are expected to drive specific economic gains: enhancing agricultural productivity could make Morocco a net exporter of agricultural products by 2043; improvements in education quality and gender parity could boost GDP per capita by US$225 above the Current Path; and increased investment in manufacturing and R&D could grow the economy by 6.8% by 2043.
• To mitigate water stress and its socio-economic impacts, the report recommends reorganising the water sector, establishing a National Water Management Agency, and introducing cost-based water pricing.
