This technical report analyzes the vulnerability, threats, and risks associated with hydroclimatic events, specifically flooding, in the city of Durán, Ecuador. Using a methodology based on IPCC definitions and the StormWater Management Model (SWMM), the study evaluates exposure, sensitivity, and adaptive capacity across 268 urban sectors to identify areas of high risk and propose integrated resilience strategies.
