The project aims to cover 400,000 acres and sequester up to 1,000,000 metric tonnes of carbon, with projected revenues of US$9-15 million from carbon credits.
• In India, the Roof Over Our Heads (ROOH) campaign and the Mahila Housing Trust (MHT) address urban vulnerability. ROOH has established learning labs across 17 settlements in nine Indian cities to test resilient housing. MHT focuses on Heat Action Plans (HAPs) for small and medium-sized cities, having served 4 million individuals and trained 63,861 women.
• Centro Sabiá in Brazil's semi-arid region implements women-led technology that repurposes 50,000 litres of greywater annually per system for agroforestry. The project has deployed over 1,000 agroforestry systems and filtered more than 30 million litres of greywater yearly, resulting in US$210,000 in annual cost savings.
