FINANCIAL SECTOR DEEPENING AFRICA PREQUALIFICATION AND REGISTRATION OF SUPPLIERS FOR SUPPLY/PROVISION OF GOODS, SERVICES AND CONSULTANCIES FOR THE STRATEGIC PERIOD 2025-2030

FSD Africa has issued a prequalification and registration document for suppliers, service providers, and consultants for the strategic period 2025-2030. The agency seeks to establish a pool of qualified entities across three main categories: supply of goods, provision of services, and technical consultancy services, to support its mission of mobilising "green plus" finance for Africa's economic and social development.

• FSD Africa is seeking to prequalify suppliers across 58 specific reference numbers divided into three primary categories: Category A for the supply of goods (such as ICT hardware and office furniture), Category B for the provision of services (including communications, IT, operations, finance, and legal), and Category C for technical consultancy services (covering financial markets, development impact, organisational strategy, and investments).
• The prequalification process requires applicants to demonstrate at least four years of experience in supplying goods, services, and allied items, and to provide letters of reference from past customers that are not older than four years.
• Applicants must submit a Capability Statement of no more than two pages describing their financial and economic capacity to perform the required works, services, or goods provision, alongside a commitment letter regarding their financial capacity.
• FSD Africa implements a sustainable procurement policy that prioritises products and services with the lowest environmental and ethical impact and the most positive social results, encouraging suppliers to adopt ESG best practices.
• The application deadline is 08 May 2025 at 12:00 PM (EAT), with all submissions required in PDF format via an online form. FSD Africa will communicate the results of the prequalification exercise within 90 days of the deadline.
• The agency maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward sexual harassment, bullying, and bribery, stating that any inducement offered or accepted would be considered a bribe under Kenyan or English law.
