100 DAYS REPORT

The 100 Days Report details the activities of Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL) from February 5 to May 15, 2021. The organization focused on advocacy for Sustainable Development Goal 7 (SDG7), supporting the UN High-level Dialogue on Energy and the COP26 Energy Transition Council, and providing technical assistance for energy access in several developing nations.

• A new partnership with Power Africa, funded by a USD 1 million USAID grant announced on March 31, focuses on coordinating national health facility electrification efforts for African governments.
• The fourth edition of the Chilling Prospects report, released on May 5, highlights that 1.09 billion people are at high risk due to a lack of cooling, exacerbated by COVID-19 pushing 50 million more people into poverty.
• SEforALL provided technical support to Nigeria's 'Solar Power Naija' project to establish 5 million new solar connections, including the creation of a geospatial data platform to determine optimal deployment sites.
• In Sierra Leone, SEforALL published a report on May 11 titled 'Increasing Energy Access in Sierra Leone,' providing recommendations on tariff and subsidy structures for mini-grids to help the country reach universal access by 2030.
• The first virtual SEforALL Youth Summit took place from February 9-11, attracting over 2,000 delegates from more than 120 countries and awarding USD 2,500 to a winning Nigerian team in the 'Troubleshooting for SDG7' innovation competition.
