REPORT ON A JOINT ISS/UNISA SEMINAR

• Mr Aubrey Matshiqi attributed the ANC split to events starting in 2005 with the removal of Mr Zuma as Deputy President, culminating at the Polokwane conference. He criticized both the leaders of the split for being "dishonest about their motivations" and the ANC for failing to provide adequate leadership to manage the internal divide.
