• Reforesting 1,000 hectares of mangroves annually for ten years would increase the value of ecosystem services by 257,148 million CFA francs (391 million euros).
• Replacing firewood with solar cookers in 30% of households would increase ecosystem service value by 12,051 million CFA francs (18 million euros) and avoid greenhouse gas emissions valued at 33,620 million CFA francs (51 million euros).
• While offshore oil extraction generates government revenue, it is projected to decrease the value of ecosystem services by 297,112 million CFA francs (453 million euros).
