Summary
This document is a compilation of action lists and decisions from the 4th through the 25th meetings of the Conference of the Parties (CoP) of the Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research (IAI), spanning from 1997 to 2017. - The IAI has expanded its institutional network by accepting Associate Institutions, such as FAPESP in 2014, and CATHALAC and CIESIN in 2000.
- The CoP amended the Agreement Establishing the IAI in 1999 to modify financial provisions, setting a minimum annual voluntary contribution of US$ 5,000 in increments of US$ 1,000.
- The IAI has engaged in international scientific initiatives, including endorsing participation in Future Earth and working toward a consortium with UNESCO and ICSU-ROLAC.
