• The marginal value of water in agriculture is heavily influenced by crop type and soil fertility; for example, the overall mean marginal value for peaches is 4.84, while for wheat it is 0.14.
• Forecasts for total urban water requirements in the region show significant projected growth, with the total increasing from 392,086,039 m3 in 2011 to a mid-range forecast of 896,228,911 m3 by 2040.
