End of Year Letter 2025

The Global Resilience Partnership (GRP) 2025 End of Year Letter outlines the organization's growth to over 90 partner organizations and its efforts to scale climate resilience through innovation challenges, private sector engagement, and the Resilience Hub.

• The Global Resilience Partnership has experienced significant growth in its network, expanding from fewer than ten partners in its first year of operation to a community of more than 90 organizations by the end of 2025.
• GRP launched and managed several innovation challenges in 2025 to support climate-resilient solutions: the RISE Urban Challenge for informal urban contexts (577 applications, seven grantees), the HKH ICE for agriculture, water security, and sustainable tourism in the Hindu Kush Himalaya region, the RAIN Challenge for resilient agriculture, and the TECH 4 Resilience Challenge for AI in humanitarian response (305 applications from 70 countries, eight projects selected).
• The Resilience Hub, managed by GRP, expanded its presence beyond COP to include programming at Climate Week NYC and London Climate Action Week. In 2025, the Hub's programming was based on the 'Resilience Science Must-Knows' report, which was developed with Future Earth and the Stockholm Resilience Centre with input from over 100 scientists and launched during COP30.
• To engage the private sector, GRP launched the Climate Resilience Awards for Business with the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) and created Mobilising Business for Resilience (MBR) with the International Finance Corporation (IFC). MBR is a cross-sector and cross-region platform designed to help close the adaptation finance gap by providing tools and partnerships to companies and investors.
