Policy progress includes the introduction of the 'Green Bond Principles' and the emergence of local transition finance guidelines in cities like Shanghai and Chongqing.

• The adoption of the 'Green Bond Principles' (CGBP) in July 2022 significantly increased the proportion of Chinese green bonds that allocate 100% of proceeds to green projects, reaching over 98% by 2023.
