• CDKN has provided the Government of Pakistan with a work programme for climate compatible development. This programme serves as a foundation for the development of a National Adaptation Plan (NAP), a National Appropriate Mitigation Actions (NAMAs) Framework, and the Second National Communication to the UNFCCC.
• To support the implementation of climate actions, CDKN is assisting the Government of Pakistan in designing a climate change fund by analyzing financial architecture and international best practices.
• A project led by IMC Worldwide has produced a report establishing a baseline and identifying legal, institutional, and data requirements for a disaster risk insurance framework aimed at vulnerable communities in Pakistan.
• The 'Sheltering from a Gathering Storm' research project, led by ISET, uses case studies from Pakistan, India, and Vietnam to provide quantitative cost-benefit evidence on investments in disaster-resilient and climate-adapted shelter design, specifically for extreme heat, typhoons, and floods.
