The NDC Update Report November 2018 by the NewClimate Institute examines the 'Ambition' of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) under the Paris Agreement. Based on a survey of 92 policymakers and experts, the report argues that current focus is too heavily weighted toward initial NDC targets rather than the deep, long-term emission reductions and net-zero transitions required by the Paris Agreement.
