Handleiding in terme van PAIA en POPIA

This document is a manual prepared by The Table Mountain Fund to assist requesters in accessing information and managing personal data in accordance with the Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA) and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of South Africa.

• The Table Mountain Fund is a Trust (registration number T890/1998) established in 1998 with funding from WWF-SA and the World Bank. It focuses on projects aligned with the Cape Action for People and the Environment (C.A.P.E.) and targets high-biodiversity areas, specifically supporting projects in the Cape Peninsula and the Cape Floral Kingdom.
• The Trust is managed by WWF South Africa (WWF-SA), which holds all relevant records for the Trust. The Trust itself has no employees.
• Financial annual statements are listed as the category of records available from the Trust without requiring a formal request under the Act.
• The Trust maintains several categories of records, including administrative and operational records (address lists, correspondence, meeting minutes) and financial management records (budgets, banking, investment statements, auditor reports, and tax returns). It also holds governance records such as the Trust Deed and registration of trustees.
