Connecting the Dots: Elements for a Joined-Up Implementation of the 2030 Agenda and Paris Agreement

An example of such reform is the phase-out of fossil fuel subsidies combined with support for vulnerable groups, as trialed in Indonesia.
• Integrated monitoring and reporting can reduce data collection costs and better inform policy. This includes creating 'hinge indicators' relevant to both agendas and utilizing global review processes, such as Voluntary National Reviews (VNRs) and the Talanoa Dialogue, to ramp up national ambitions.
