• The SCF programme structure is divided into four main areas: inter-regional cooperation involving China and Europe (including the China-ASEAN Environment Cooperation Forum and the Asia-Europe Environment Forum), regional cooperation within Asia (focusing on the private sector and policy events), learning and capacity development (specifically online courses on human rights and gender), and programme management.
• The SCF supports the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by providing grants and hosting platforms for innovation and discussion. Featured events have addressed themes such as eco-city construction and marine ecosystem management in Nanning, China; consumption and production in Yokohama, Japan; climate change adaptation and indigenous knowledge in Yogyakarta, Indonesia; and sustainable agriculture in Vientiane, Laos.
