Project Brief for Work Package 1 (WP1)

• The research methodology for WP1 involves a qualitative content analysis of policy documents, plans, and scientific reports from 10 case studies. The process includes coding documents based on the four resilience typologies, developing a 'fingerprint' to illustrate perceptions and governance, performing pattern matching across cases, and conducting member check interviews with case study leaders.
• The broader CADWAGO project, led by the Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI), aims to improve water governance and climate change adaptation capacity by reconciling food security, renewable energy, and ecosystem services. It involves 10 partners from North America, Australasia, and Europe, with the goal of using synthesized case lessons to adapt European decision-making.
