Africa’s road to BAPA+40

• South Africa's approach to SSC is de-facto multi-stakeholder across various government departments, but it has struggled with consistent reporting and the establishment of a centralized South African Partnership Agency.
• Economic structural transformation in the Global South is threatened by technological changes that may polarize jobs and hollow out the middle class, necessitating progressive redistribution mechanisms.
