Corporate Climate Responsibility Monitor 2025

The 2025 Corporate Climate Responsibility Monitor finds that most major global companies fail to align their business models with the Paris Agreement's 1.5°C goal. • Sector-specific analysis reveals significant gaps: the food and agriculture sector lacks sufficient support for key transitions like shifting to plant-based protein; the tech sector's GHG targets are undermined by surging energy demand from data centres; the fashion sector relies on 'false solutions' such as fossil gas and biomass; and the automotive sector largely ignores battery production emissions and near-zero material sourcing.
