• The proponent is required to implement specific environmental protections, including the use of oil water separators and silt traps in drainage facilities, and the installation of a continuous emission monitoring system.
• Notification protocols require the proponent to notify the Energy Regulatory Commission and NEMA of any system malfunction within 12 hours, and to notify NEMA of pollution incidences within 24 hours.
• Decommissioning requires the proponent to notify the Authority in writing of the intent to decommission three months in advance and submit a decommissioning plan for approval at least three months prior to the process.
