• On 28 May 2010, 190 States Parties to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) adopted a final document during the 8th Review Conference (RevCon) at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. The purpose of the paper is to analyze this document from an African perspective to determine if it represents a significant step toward the total elimination of nuclear weapons.
