ISS African Futures

This document is the acknowledgment and introductory front matter for a special report titled "Development pathways for the DRC to 2050," authored by Dr Kouassi Yeboua and published by the Institute for Security Studies (ISS) as part of the African Futures & Innovation (AFI) program.

• The report "Development pathways for the DRC to 2050" was informed by a data validation workshop held on 27 August 2020, which included participants from academia, donor organizations, and government offices.
• The African Futures & Innovation (AFI) program at the Institute for Security Studies uses forecasting and scenarios to address the gap in wellbeing indices between Africa and the rest of the world, providing empirical data to assist stakeholders in planning and resource allocation.
