• Electricity subsidy reform has been delayed twice: once in January 2016 by President Jokowi and again in mid-2016 by the DPR. A new plan for reform was scheduled for early 2017, focusing on the 450VA and 900VA connection classes to reduce the number of subsidy recipients from 45.1 million to 23.15 million.
