Getting to 23 Per Cent: Strategies to scale up renewables in Indonesia

Indonesia is currently off pace to meet its goal of a 23% renewable energy share in its national energy mix. Despite commitments under the Paris Agreement to reduce emissions by 29-41% by 2030, renewable capacity additions have lagged, reaching only 9.4 GW by the end of 2018 against a target of 15.5 GW.
