This is exemplified by the world's largest economies subsidizing fossil fuels over clean energy by a margin of 2.5 to 1, with the top importers spending USD 314 billion on such subsidies in 2024.
• Successful international process design for TAFF roadmaps must incorporate multistakeholder and expert input, maintain clear modalities and scopes, and complement existing processes rather than duplicating them.
