TWENTY-FOURTH CONFERENCE OF THE PARTIES (CoP) OF THE IAI

The twenty-fourth meeting of the Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research (IAI) Conference of the Parties, held in June 2016, resulted in the approval of the budget, country contributions, and annual program for FY 2016-2017, as well as the election of the Executive Council.

• The IAI Conference of the Parties approved three primary administrative items for the 2016-2017 fiscal year: the Core Budget Request, the level of Country Contributions (which remained unmodified), and the Annual Program.
• The members of the Executive Council for the following two years were elected by consensus and include Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Panama, Paraguay, and the USA.
