A notification from the Executive Director of the Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research (IAI) announcing the availability of preliminary reports from the 31st Conference of the Parties (CoP-31) and the 55th meeting of the Executive Council (CE-55) for review and comment.

• The preliminary report for the 31st Conference of the Parties (CoP-31), held in Panama City and via videoconference in 2023, is available for review. The report is divided into two sections: Section I, which summarizes procedures, and Section II, which contains 23 decisions adopted by the Parties.
• The preliminary report for the 55th meeting of the Executive Council (CE-55), held in Montevideo and via videoconference in 2023, is available for review and comments on the IAI website.
• Participants of CoP-31 are requested to submit comments on the meeting report by August 27, 2023, in accordance with Article 95 of the Conference of the Parties Regulations.
• While Article 63 of the Executive Council Regulations does not specify a deadline for observations, the IAI Executive Directorate requests that representatives of CE-55 submit observations preferably 90 days before the 32nd Conference of the Parties to allow for final editing and translation.
