NOTIFICATION

The Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research (IAI) has released draft reports for the 29th meeting of the Conference of the Parties (CoP-29) and the 51st meeting of the Executive Council (EC-51) for review and comment.

• The draft report for the 29th meeting of the Conference of the Parties (CoP-29) consists of two sections: Section I provides a summary of proceedings, and Section II contains 17 Decisions adopted by the Parties.
• Under Rule 95 of the Standing rules of the Conference of the Parties, participants are requested to submit comments on the CoP-29 draft report by 12 September 2021.
• While Rule 63 of the Standing rules of the Executive Council does not specify a deadline for comments on the EC-51 draft report, the IAI Directorate requests that representatives provide them preferably 90 days before the 30th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to allow for editing and translation.
• The IAI acknowledged Argentina for providing interpretation services and the United States of America for providing videoconferencing facilities during the meeting.
