NOTIFICATION

The IAI Directorate has released draft reports for CoP-29 and EC-51 for participant review. CoP-29 representatives must submit comments by 12 September 2021, while EC-51 representatives are requested to provide feedback preferably 90 days before the 30th Conference of the Parties.

• The draft report for the 29th meeting of the Conference of the Parties (CoP-29) consists of two sections: Section I provides a summary of proceedings and Section II contains 17 Decisions adopted by the Parties.
• Under Rule 95 of the Standing rules of the Conference of the Parties, comments on the CoP-29 draft report must be submitted by participants no later than 12 September 2021.
• While Rule 63 of the Standing rules of the Executive Council does not specify a deadline for comments on the EC-51 report, the IAI Directorate requests that representatives provide them preferably 90 days before the 30th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to allow for editing and translation.
