A notification from the Executive Director of the Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research (IAI) announcing the availability of provisional reports from the 27th Conference of the Parties (CoP-27) and the 47th and 48th meetings of the Executive Council for review and comment.

• The provisional reports for the 27th Conference of the Parties (CoP-27) held in Brasilia, as well as the 47th and 48th meetings of the Executive Council, have been published on the IAI website for review.
• The CoP-27 preliminary report contains a summary of the meeting in Section I and 38 Decisions adopted by the Parties in Section II. These decisions cover the IAI's Strategic Plan, the revised Scientific Agenda, the open data portal, and a document on ethical conduct standards and conflicts of interest.
• Discussions at CoP-27 focused on the creation of an IAI fellowship program, the fourth round of the Cooperative Research Networks Program, and the participation of Parties in Belmont Forum Collaborative Research Action calls.
• The Conference of the Parties decided to invite the COIBA AIP Scientific Station and the Humboldt Institute in Colombia to become IAI Associates.
• Deadlines for submitting observations on the reports vary: CoP-27 participants are asked to submit comments by August 18, 2019, while Executive Council (CE-47 and CE-48) representatives are requested to submit them preferably 90 days before the 28th Conference of the Parties.
