Informe del Director Ejecutivo a la CoP 22

• Consultations with policymakers emphasized that the committee should prioritize 'practitioners' with experience in science-based decision-making rather than those with a specific scientific agenda, and should include representatives from the legislative branch or local governments to complement the CoP.
• The Executive Director proposes a specific process for forming the first SPAC: a high-level steering group would present a list of 18 candidates, from which the CoP would select three, the Director three, and the steering group three.
