Annual Program (July 2010 – June 2011)

The Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research (IAI) outlines its activities plan for July 2010 to June 2011, focusing on training institutes, science programs, and a specific MacArthur project regarding Andean biodiversity.

• The IAI scheduled four Training Institutes between August 2010 and April 2011: one on seasonal climate predictions in Buenos Aires (August 2010), one on cities' responses to climate change in Santiago (November 2010 - December 2010), one on responsible conduct of research in Buenos Aires (March 2011, pending funding), and one on land use change, biofuels, and rural development in the La Plata Basin in Asuncion (April 2011, to be confirmed).
