Lista de Acciones

This briefing documents the action items and decisions made during the 25th Executive Council (CE) meeting of the Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research (IAI), held on November 28-29, 2007, in Arlington, Virginia.

• The Executive Council (CE) established a group to draft the IAI Strategic Plan, consisting of representatives from Argentina, Mexico, Panama, the United States (specifically Margarita Gregg and Paul Filmer), the President of the SAC with two additional committee members, and the IAI Director. This group was tasked with meeting as soon as possible, with the Dominican Republic offering to host a meeting tentatively scheduled for February 17-19, 2008.
• The CE extended the status of the FAC for an additional two years, until January 2010, with Brazil, Canada, and the United States continuing as members.
