This document is a guide for a self-paced virtual course titled "Respuesta en clima y ambiente para la salud en las Américas - Del conocimiento y la formación transdisciplinarios hacia las políticas públicas." The course aims to strengthen the capacity of public sector professionals and institutions in the Americas to address environmental determinants of health (DAS) using a transdisciplinary (TD) approach at the intersection of climate, environment, and health (CEH).

• The course promotes a transdisciplinary (TD) approach to address environmental determinants of health (DAS), which involves collaborative and iterative co-development processes between researchers and stakeholders, including policymakers, implementers, and affected communities, to create solution-oriented research.
• The training initiative focuses on the nexus of climate, environment, and health (CEH), covering a broad social framework that includes vulnerability, resilience, pollution, food and water security and quality, and chronic or emerging diseases related to global change.
• The course is structured into five modules and five scientific communication sessions, requiring approximately 40 hours of study. The curriculum covers the definition of TD research, the co-production of knowledge, the application of 'results chain' models for policy analysis, the ethical management of diverse teams with an emphasis on equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI), and the drafting of funding proposals.
• To obtain a certificate of completion for the 40-hour workload, participants must complete all five modules, fill out a course survey, and pass a final 20-question assessment with a score of 70% or higher.
