Intervention Brief

The Alternative Service Delivery Unit (ASDU), implemented by GreenCape, uses an adaptive co-design framework to provide energy services to unserviced communities. In Freedom Farm, a settlement of approximately 2,000 people in Cape Town, the ASDU identified a lack of formal electricity and high unemployment (close to 65%).
