REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ)

GreenCape has issued a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for a full conference package to support a project for the German International Climate Initiative (JUST SA). The package includes venue hire, catering, accommodation, and a recreational activity for 30 delegates in the Kruger Lowveld region of Mpumalanga from 21 to 25 May 2024.

• GreenCape is seeking a service provider to host an annual conference for 30 delegates from 22 to 24 May 2024. The venue must provide a U-shape layout, a flat podium, uncapped high-speed Wi-Fi, A/V equipment including a data projector and microphones, an on-site A/V technician, and backup power.
• The required package includes accommodation for 30 delegates in single individual rooms from check-in on 21 May 2024 to check-out on 25 May 2024. Catering must be provided for all delegates, including breakfast, lunch, tea/coffee, and dinner, with flexibility for dietary requirements such as halal, vegan, and gluten-free options.
• The conference is part of a project for the German International Climate Initiative (JUST SA) aimed at implementing pathways for a 'Just Transition' toward a low carbon economy and a climate-resilient, environmentally sustainable society.
• The target location for the event is the Kruger Lowveld in Mpumalanga, specifically mentioning areas such as Bushbuckridge, Hazyview, Hectorspruit, Kaapmuiden, Komatipoort, Kruger National Park, Malelane, Nelspruit/Mbombela, Sabie, and White River. The package must also include one evening game drive for the 30 delegates.
• Quotations must be submitted by 23 February 2024 at 12pm. Evaluation will be based on a weighting of 50% functionality, 30% price, and 20% B-BBEE status, with B-BBEE Level 1 contributors receiving 20 points.
