Terms of Reference Junior Content Creator, Youth Expert Global South Talent Pool

The Global Resilience Partnership (GRP) is seeking a Junior Content Creator for a five-month, home-based internship starting 1 September 2024. The role, part of the Global South Talent Pool (GSTP), focuses on enhancing GRP's social media presence, website content, and policy reporting support.

• The Junior Content Creator position is a full-time, home-based role with a duration of 5 months starting on 1 September 2024, including a one-month probation period. The compensation is 1000 USD per month, which includes a 50 USD allowance for the use of the candidate's own laptop and internet connection.
• The role's primary responsibilities involve supporting GRP's communications and policy work. Communication tasks include developing social media campaigns, creating graphic content (promo cards, fliers, and short videos) using Canva, writing blogs and news posts, and compiling the monthly newsletter. Policy support includes remote participation in events, note-taking, and assisting with report writing and rapporteuring.
• Eligible candidates must be under 35 years old, hold a degree in a relevant discipline, and have 3-5 years of experience. Applicants must be nationals of a country eligible for Official Development Assistance as defined by the OECD-DAC and possess strong English communication skills.
• The position is part of the Global South Talent Pool (GSTP), a paid internship programme for graduates and young experts from the Global South. This initiative, alongside the Women and Youth Scaling Engagement in Resilience (WYSER) Leaders programme, aims to integrate the insights of youth and women into resilience-building efforts.
