Report on Activities of the Secretariat

The Green Climate Fund Secretariat report details operational progress between October 2014 and February 2015. • The Fund's resource mobilization efforts resulted in total pledges of approximately US$ 10.2 billion, including US$ 9.3 billion pledged by 21 countries during a High-Level Pledging Conference in Berlin on 20 November 2014.
• Staffing diversity has improved since the eighth meeting of the Board, with the percentage of female staff increasing from 25% to 35% and staff from developing countries increasing from 25% to 39%.
• The Secretariat is developing a web-based Operations Manual and Appraisal Toolkit to provide guidance for stakeholders on operational pillars and funding proposal requirements.
• The Ethics and Audit Committee recommended the appointment of Daemyung Grant Thornton as the external auditor for the Fund.
