Farm to Feed: Curbing Food Wastage to Reduce CO2 Emissions

This case study describes Farm to Feed, a venture supported by FSD Africa's Catalyst Fund, which reduces food waste and CO2 emissions by purchasing surplus and imperfect produce from farmers for B2B sale and donation.

• Farm to Feed addresses global food waste, which the Food Waste Index 2021 report estimates at 1.3 billion tonnes annually, contributing 10% of global greenhouse gas emissions.
