Solidarité Internationaliste avec les migrant·e·s aux États-Unis

Friends of the Earth International denounces the systemic violence and racial profiling carried out by US immigration and border agencies (ICE, CBP, and DHS), linking migration to climate adaptation and imperialist interventions. The organization calls for the abolition of ICE and an end to the militarization of borders.

• US immigration and border agencies, specifically ICE, CBP, and DHS, are accused of systemic racial profiling and violence, including the intentional targeting of Black migrants and indigenous and Latin American people. Medical negligence in ICE detention centers resulted in 38 deaths in 2025.
• Border surveillance and police militarism are identified as drivers of racism and xenophobia globally, disproportionately impacting Black and mixed-race individuals and separating families.
• Migrants in detention face violations of fundamental human rights, including a lack of access to basic necessities such as water, food, medication, and adequate sanitation.
• Migration is framed as a natural human adaptation to climate change and environmental, political, or economic uncertainty, often caused by the interventions of multinational corporations and imperial powers like the United States.
