Time to protect the Norwegian fjords and our common sea

A statement from a coalition of environmental organizations urging the Norwegian government to stop the dumping of toxic mining waste in its fjords, specifically citing plans for Førdefjord and Repparfjord.

• Environmental organizations are opposing plans to dump significant quantities of toxic mining waste in Norwegian fjords, specifically 300 million tons in Førdefjord on the West coast and 30 million tons in Repparfjord in the North of Norway.
