Donald Trump endangers American Democracy

Friends of the Earth (U.S.) argues that Donald Trump's presidency endangers the foundations of American democracy and the U.S. Constitution. The organization pledges to fight attacks on laws protecting air, water, and food supplies, while supporting public protests and congressional resistance to the new administration.

• Friends of the Earth (U.S.) claims that Donald Trump's inauguration tests the foundations of democracy and that he will violate the Constitution's Emoluments Clause upon taking office.
• The organization asserts that Republican leaders in Congress intend to ignore constitutional checks and balances to allow for Trump's conflicts of interest.
• Friends of the Earth commits to resisting attacks on laws that protect the food supply, air, and water, and supports the actions of over forty members of Congress and thousands of protesters resisting the inauguration.
