FLUXOGRAMA DE REGULARIZAÇÃO AMBIENTAL DE IMÓVEL RURAL ≤ 4 MÓDULOS FISCAIS

This document is a flowchart detailing the environmental regularization process for rural properties of 4 fiscal modules or less under the Brazilian Forest Code, outlining requirements for Permanent Preservation Areas (APP), Legal Reserves, and restricted-use areas.

• For rural properties of 4 fiscal modules or less, the regularization of Permanent Preservation Areas (APP) follows specific limits: the APP will not exceed 10% of the property if the property is less than or equal to 2 fiscal modules, and will not exceed 20% if the property is between 2 and 4 fiscal modules.
• The regularization process for Legal Reserves in these properties allows the reserve to be formed by the remaining native vegetation existing as of July 22, 2008, even if the percentage is lower than what is generally prescribed in the Forest Code.
• Environmental regularization involves several administrative and technical tools, including the Rural Environmental Registry (CAR), the Environmental Regularization Program (PRA), the Recovery Project for Degraded and Altered Areas (PRADA), and Environmental Reserve Quotas (CRA).
