However, it significantly boosts productivity in agriculture (0.11%) and livestock (0.15%) per 1% increase in credit, suggesting that producers in this biome face severe credit constraints that hinder modernization.
• Rural credit has a significantly larger positive impact on grain production than on other crops. A 1% increase in municipal credit increases the value of grain production by 0.28% and land productivity for grains by 0.38%. Conversely, other crops show a reduction in land productivity, possibly due to competition for resources and labor with the grain sector.
