Energy Efficiency Enabling Initiative

The Energy Efficiency Enabling Initiative is proposed as a private equity fund to address the funding gap in energy efficiency, particularly in emerging economies. By utilizing donor-backed concessional equity in a first-loss position and providing technical assistance, the fund aims to crowd in private institutional investors.
